About Me

Hello 👋🏼 I'm Mojan, a Toronto-based data scientist.

I started this blog as a way to share my math+code as I learn more about data science.

Career & academics

I completed a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2016 and a Master's of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Washington in 2020.

Most recently, I've worked at Facebook, Shopify and Wealthsimple (where I currently work as a data science manager for the product team).

So, other than work...

I love hiking, being a mom, and my husband Steven.
